The Property Maintenance Code Inspectors enforce issues pertaining to the maintenance of structures, overgrown weeds and the accumulation of debris or trash. Our Code Inspectors work to ensure that City of Carthage residents comply with the ordinances and regulations set forth by the City to protect our community and address issues that may be detrimental to the health, safety, economy, and general welfare of our residents.

Common code violations:

• Overgrown weeds

• Junk / trash in yard

• Dilapidated buildings and fences

• Inoperable motor vehicles on property
