The City of Carthage is adopting a Vision Zero Commitment with the goal of eliminating fatal and serious injury crashes by 2035. This includes the city’s public works team and consultants, tasked with implementing the action plan, to provide safety analyses, policy and process changes, and strategic project selections to meet this goal, all while ensuring the plan development is equitable to the needs of all of Carthage’s citizens. But the City of Carthage needs you! It is essential that the city get feedback, engagement, and collaboration from its citizens to ensure all safety needs are met, not just those that are more visible in higher traveled areas. Whether you’re with a private business, within the public sector, or a community group, Carthage needs all its citizens to provide feedback to create the best possible strategies and ensure all safety concerns of its citizens are incorporated into policy changes.
