The City of Carthage is nearing completion of a proactive tree removal project supported by the Community Forestry Cost-Share program through the Missouri Department of Conservation.
As part of the effort, 20 ash trees identified as high risk due to potential infestation by the Emerald Ash Borer have been removed. The project enhances public safety and supports the ongoing health and sustainability of the city’s urban forest.
